Product and Service Opinions
The Internet provides some great resources for consumer opinions.
Deja.com provides real opinions from other consumers. You'll get an honest assessment of a product from people who have actually purchased and used the items you're considering. There are also discussion groups on almost any topic you can think of. You can post your own review of products, as well.
Epinions.com provides a similar service, but places more focus on the expertise of the product reviewer. These are still honest, unbiased opinions about the products, but reviewers ususally have qualifications to back up their assessments.
Bizrate.com provides service ratings and rebates for on-line businesses. This service presents mostly larger companies.
